FAQs

Granted, contacting sample makers or full-package clothing manufacturers is generally daunting. Some maintain an online presence but are unreachable, have closed doors toward outsiders, and cannot accommodate small-batch orders. Finding a suitable manufacturer requires a combination of intense due diligence, networking, planning, and a dash of luck.

In this regard, there is a two-way issue: Manufacturers may not have the means to keep up with every enquiry, or they may have trust issues with those relatively unknown in the market.

Despite these concerns directed at their potential customers, manufacturers are also responsible for upholding specific standards, usually confirmed through contractual agreements.

This comprehensive list aims to answer our prospects’ questions and clarify any potential confusion early on.

What are your minimum order quantities (MOQs)?

Please enquire for details, as MOQs vary based on total pieces, colours, and sizes.

What are the estimated lead times for design and delivery?

By approximation, a typical order takes about three to four months from design to delivery.

Kindly note that several factors contribute to the length of the durations above, such as the approval of tech packs, procurement of raw materials, finalisation of designs, et cetera.

Mass production also depends on the scope and breadth of our customer’s wants and needs.

Supplying Raw Materials

While we boast an array of suppliers within Türkiye and internationally, our clients are always encouraged to provide their raw materials whenever possible.

Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have an idea about the materials you seek. We can list our substitutes or exact matches (if any).

Samples

Product and sample development takes from 1 week to 1.5 months, depending on the complexity of the sample, from the date of payment of the relevant charges upon confirmation of all details.

We request that all approved samples be returned along with a completed copy of our e-sample form to ensure exact production and consistent implementation of changes.

We will initially provide you with an invoice for the samples. This invoice must be paid before we start producing the samples. However, we can adjust the final manufacturing invoice by reducing the sample invoice amount. Alternatively, we can add extra units to your final order based on the number of samples you incurred during development.

Shipping

Due to the small-batch quantities of our orders, Örümcek uses a shipping method called micro-exporting, which provides a cost-effective solution with certain concessions for shipments weighing 300kgs maximum and costing up to €15,000.00 – this is executable by courier companies like DHL (Turkish language-only)

For more information, please visit the article on PTS Worldwide Express.

Despite this rule, however, sea freight could be considered through our various partners should your order exceed a particular quantity and is spread out for a much longer duration than those mentioned above.

Quotes

Thanks to our efficient operations, we can provide quotations within 5 to 7 working days after we finalise the sample or final production specifications and quantities. We will only proceed with manufacturing under any circumstances if pre-payments are made according to the terms outlined in our Agreement with clients.

Due to our busy production schedule, we may have to prioritise queries based on response time. It is important for clients to respond quickly and efficiently to ensure their query is given priority.

Additional Services

As mentioned, our Agreement with our clients usually dictates how their products are manufactured.

We offer additional services such as washing, specialised treatment, embroidery, printing or arranging extra quality control measures that may require outsourcing outside our operations. We will discuss these services with you and provide accurate quotes, which will be reflected in your sample or final order invoice.

Ironing, packing, and internal quality control are complimentary for our clients’ orders.

Returns, Refunds

While all sales are final, the contractual Agreements between Örümcek and the Client dictate how avoidable and unavoidable mishaps can be amended.

These include but are not limited to: Manufacturing Manufacturing mishaps from Örümcek’s end: Faulty construction, broken links, insufficient stitching or overlocking, or equivalent Faults in raw materials at the end-user stage (e.g., piling/unexpected shrinkage, colour transfer during wash). Shipping mishaps, late delivery, delivery in unacceptable package condition

Payment Methods

Örümcek accepts bank transfers from reputable, mainstream banks inside and outside Türkiye.
